New Stew

I recently had the pleasure of getting a chance meeting with the up an comming Ian Stewart. If you haven't heard of him, you probably should. A house/dubstep artist out of Wallingford, CT, his demeanor is up and at 'em with great taste and great sounds always on his mind. Studying music since he was 6, he finally decided to try his hand at mixing in 2005, and has been steadily gaining notice ever since. His climb began In 2006, after meeting DJ Alex Liberatore, owner of Dynamix Records L.L.C., at a house party. Having been getting after it for only 5 years now, his big spot came recently from a bumpin set at 'The Big Up' this summer (Big Up). Listen to it here. With jazz influence and classical study, he's got the foundation to make some noise in the dubstep scene. Here's my favorite mix of his so  far, a very enjoyable mix of stevie wonder's superstition:

More info on Stewart can be found on his page. Definitely try to keep an eye on this talent, it's worth your time.
